In the previous role, I was responsible for preliminary designs and prepares complete and detailed drawings for substations, generation plants, electric transmission lines and gas facilities in the following drafting disciplines: structural, civil, mechanical and electrical.

• Capable of performing complex, multi-level construction design work in the CAD system
• Well rounded mechanical background with manual dexterity
• NCIDQ certified or in-process/eligible to be certified
• Classroom education in AutoCAD (technical classes, certificate program)
• Recent graduate with demonstrated knowledge of the use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software, including, but not limited to, the development of horizontal and vertical alignments, grading, profiles, sections, pipe networks, quantities, surfaces, and knowledge of CAD Standards
• Experience with MicroStation, MEP, GIS, or Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Experience manipulating data for use GPS units

• Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical/Astronautical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Production Engineering preferred
• Experience in high production volume industries such as consumer electronics, mobile phones or automotive backgrounds are preferred
• Familiarity of Mil specs for fasteners, inserts, and plating
• Prepares complete production detail drawings (lays outs/sketches/flow charts/diagrams/schematics, ), documentation and reports
• Provides support to engineers on technical projects and collects, maintains, organizes, compiles, and manipulates data to improve quality of product and/or manufacturing operations
• Creates, builds, assembles, modifies and/or repairs prototype assemblies
