Driver / Warehouse Cover Letter

In my previous role, I was responsible for input to Demand Planning regarding the spare parts forecast and assists in development of sales forecasts for spares of all Madison products.

• Physically load and unload product
• Verifying/identifying parts and/or materials
• Load and unload containers
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by delivering product to legally licensed cannabis retailers with extreme care
• Perform a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy and completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintain displays (tools, caulk, ), move, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts
• Loads truck by ordering, placing, and securing items
• Delivers items by identifying destinations, operating the truck, unloading items, and maintaining the schedule to the airport terminals
• Pulling replenishment orders in the warehouse

In my previous role, I was responsible for customer service to clients and assist with auto parts cleaning services, collection of used oil for recycling and other automotive and industrial products and services, such as lubricants, solvents, and windshield wiper fluid.

I reviewed the requirements of the job opening and I believe my candidacy is an excellent fit for this position. Some of the key requirements that I have extensive experience with include:

• Ensures trucks are cleaned regularly and maintained in good working condition
• Works with management to make sure trucks are receiving regular preventive maintenance (i.e., oil changes, ) as needed
• Alerts management immediately if product is damaged in transit
• Provides excellent customer service and polite interactions during deliveries
• Picks up additional orders of resale products
• Make deliveries to and pick-ups from customers, other branches/warehouses, and vendors/suppliers
• Load and unload shipments/deliveries using proper equipment
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance functions according to DOT regulations
