In my previous role, I was responsible for patient care in an advanced assistive role within the clinical setting, under the supervision of the Manager and daily direction of the Registered Nurse (RN).

• De-Escalation/TEAM training completed within 6 months of hire and maintained annually
• National Paramedic license or National EMT certification preferred in addition to above
• Cardiac Dysrhythmia
• Current (within 6 months) ED/EMS experience
• Greater than 6 months
• Six months of EMT or emergency care preferred
• Successful completion of a state-approved Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course that meets or exceeds the National Emergency Medical Services Education Standards for the Emergency Medical Technician is preferred
• Qualification by 1 - Current Missouri CNA certificate, 2- Missouri EMT license, or 3-Fundamental of Nursing course completed

• Nurse Technician experience in an acute care facility preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic testing in health care is preferred

• Display broad knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, pathology and/or physiological data to obtain optimal studies
• Select and record preliminary study results
• Maintain ultrasonography equipment
• Perform on-call duties and/or work variable shifts as assigned to meet department needs
• BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date

• Minimum of 6 months’ acute care, EMT/paramedic preferred
• Splinting skills preferred
• Phlebotomy and UDS/BAT training preferred
• High School education or equivalent upon hire
• Florida State CNA, EMT, Medical Assistant
• Proof of attendance and successful completion of a course in Cardiac Telemetry Monitoring
• Completes Basic Telemetry course annually
