• Current Washington State licensure in area of clinical expertise
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS), or equivalent
• Intermediate user of Word and keyboard

• Background in Patient Safety with Safety Certification

• Graduate of state accredited school of nursing
• Experience in clinical operations and/or experience working in performance improvement, patient safety, risk management or quality management areas in the healthcare environment
• Knowledge of adverse event investigation, sentinel events, root cause analysis methodology, group facilitation, project management, and healthcare regulatory event reporting requirements

• Able to work with clients to understand work processes, gather information, document requirements and translate these into functional requirements

• Analysis, design, and development experience with Business Objects, Oracle, SQL Server, &/or XML desirable
• Advanced knowledge of nursing and healthcare practices
