- Tests engine operation, using applicable manuals and test equipment, to determine serviceability and or fault-isolate source of malfunction as necessary

- Supervise, troubleshoot, repair and maintain HC-130H aircraft systems, including functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair of all airframe, power plant and propeller mechanical systems, post maintenance checkout, adjustment, and correct flight generated discrepancies IAW USCG ACMS and USCG/DoD Technical orders
- Thorough knowledge of technical publications related to aircraft, missile, or wheeled and tracked vehicle maintenance mandatory
- Experience with fighter aircraft crew escape systems
- Aircraft A&P license -AA Degree in related discipline and 3 years of related experience or 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience
