- Prepare maintenance, replacement, and new business permit sketches, and electronic files (GIS) from a computer mapping database, following WG departmental and corresponding jurisdictional agency standards/requirements

- Provide pipeline records that are displaying Washington Gas facilities located within VDOT right of way for processing CE-7/Utility Packages meeting the established VDOT and Fairfax County street acceptance guidelines
- Perform research to determine proper traffic control plan and attaches same to permit application
- Attach/Input permit drawings and other jurisdictionally required information (i.e., GIS information) within WIMIS Web portal and other systems as necessary
- Actively monitor workload in WIMIS by running appropriate queries and notifies supervisor of outstanding issues which may impede successful completion of assigned duties
- Proactively follow up with the permit creator when additional information is required to complete the permit sketch successfully
- Update WIMIS and other systems and documents with the appropriate status of work regarding authorization status
- Utilize current ADC Map Book to verify correct jurisdictional agency
- Assists with providing quantities used to determine permit cost
Qualifications for autocad drafter
