- Perform in connection with assigned tasks the necessary operating, regulating and adjusting to maintain desired output of electric generators, transformers, busses, transmission lines, oil and air circuit breakers and associated equipment, including such operations as synchronizing, both auto and manual, switching and the replacing of fuses
- Operate balance of plant equipment
- Engage in, as required, the mechanical and electrical switching operations necessary to remove station or substation mechanical and electrical equipment from service and return it to service, including the preparing, giving or receiving clearance, placing or removing of hold cards in accordance with established procedures
