- Follows departmental lock-out/tag-out procedures and program
- Performs check-ins and safety inspections on diesel and heavy equipment
- Performs Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and/or diesel engine maintenance, and assists other equipment mechanics with general shop and equipment maintenance as directed
