- Communicates with the attending physician regarding the results of evaluations, physical examinations, interpretation of diagnostic tests, and intended/performed interventions

- National Certification Corporation (NCC) or American Nurses Credentialing Center certification preferred
- Completion or in process of compleletion of Surgical Technology program
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through the National Board of Surgical Tech and Surgical Assisting Preferred
- No experience required 1 year of OR experience in surgery or labor and delivery setting or equivalent combination of education or experience preferred
- Two years minimum experience L&D, circulating and taking care of high risk antepartum patients

- Current Neonatal Resuscitation ( NRP ) Certificate
- One year acute care experience working with the patient population similar to department of hire or completion of the specialty residency located at that facility
- 1 year of Post Partum or labor and delivery in the last 3 years
- Must legally perform the essential functions of the job
- Able to demonstrate the necessary skills and competencies to include medication administration and nursing competencies
