- In accordance with the transportation of patients, uses wheelchairs and other approved rolling stock to carry out the essential duties of the position
- Ensures the comfort of the patient by being attentive
- Practicing safe lifting and techniques, transports patients by assisting patients in and out of cars, lifting patients on and off beds, moving patients to and from special services and treatment areas using wheelchairs, gurneys, or moveable beds
- Transports medications, specimens, and blood appropriately as directed
