- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida
- Current FL Registered Nurse
- Assesses, plans and evaluates the nursing care needs of the patient in the immediate operative or procedural period
- Provides comfort and support for operative patients
- Is under the general supervision of the Perioperative Clinical Supervisor and the direct responsibility to the Perioperative Director

- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) within ninety (90) day of hire
- Previous clinical nursing experience in Critical Care or minimum of one year Medical Surgical/ICU experience preferred
- LACTATION CONSULTANT — One year recent (within the last three years) working in a primary role providing lactation education to patients in a hospital or obstetrical clinic, including the identification and prevention of breast feeding problems
- Previous clinical nursing experience in Radiology desired
- Previous clinical nursing experience in Medical Surgical desired
- BLS, COAP and ACLS are required
- Or minimum of two (2) years of medical surgical experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ACEN or CCNE) if they are a new graduate nurse
- Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire)
- A nurse who is returning to the acute care setting after five or more years may be required to provide evidence of successful completion of a refresher course
