- Follows facility guidelines in the assessment, care and evaluation of the patient receiving conscious sedation

- Initiate referrals to specialty services and foster continuity of care
- Applies the nursing process to assess pain, plan, implement and evaluate the care of the patient undergoing a diagnostic endoscopy
- Provides patient with explanations of procedures and treatments

- Advance Fetal Monitoring is required within 16 months of hire or transfer into Labor & Delivery for new graduate RNs and RNs without previous Labor & Delivery experience
- Basic Dysrythmia is required upon hire or within 6 months from the date of hire in Medical/Oncology and Surgical/Orthopedic
- Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) Certification (or eligible) is required upon hire for designated positions in the Emergency Room
- Requires current Michigan Nursing License
- A Nursing degree/diploma from a nationally accredited school
- 1 year previous patient care experience is preferred
