- Implementing the pre-operative admission assessment record, assimilation of the patient’s hospital record, and obtaining history and physical from ordering physician’s office

RN-Radiology Job Description
- Provide weekend and holiday coverage as assigned by the Administrator
- Participate in the review process
- Report pertinent observations to attending physician
- Completes related tasks as assigned by the Patient Care Supervisor/Administrator
- The Registered Nurse will be trained on PICC and Mid-Line IV insertion

- Assures that reportable events occurring within the department are properly reported to Risk Management within the time required by law
- Assists Risk Management Department in identifying risks, analyzing cause/effects of incidents and in the investigation of incidents as may be required for legal purposes
- Works with Risk Management Department in developing corrective action plans addressing trends or categories or risks/incidents

RN-Radiology Job Description
- Under the general direction of the Director or the Nurse Manager, the Charge RN coordinates patient care and staffing needs for assigned shift
- Circulating during Radiology procedures and assisting the patient and/or physician whenever necessary
- Maintains an inventory of contrast media and patient related supplies
- Performs routine office duties such as answering telephones, check on previous reports, images, , whenever necessary
- Orientation of nursing personnel to the Radiology department
- Will be required to be on-call or work overtime and/or evenings, nights, weekends or holidays for emergency procedures and/or situations that arise in the department to help maintain adequate coverage of the Department
