Ability to identify and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention
Strong knowledge of Backups and Recovery, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication and High Availability strategies for MS SQL environments
Strong knowledge of index management, integrity checks, configuration
Comfortable with SQL installations both Standalone and Cluster
Comfortable with SP upgrades
Comfortable with tools- SQL Profiler, Database Tuning Advisor, PAL, Lite speed
4 to 6 Years as DBA
