• Previous experience coordinating multiple field crews, demonstrating positive health and safety culture and proactively communicating between field crews and office leads
• Previous experience completing daily reporting and forecasting field work needs as they relate to construction support
• Willingness to work based on a field rotation schedule and performing field work hand offs with rotation replacement

• Experience with overseeing wildlife biology components of environmental construction support
• Working knowledge of the federal Migratory Birds Convention Act, British Columbia’s Wildlife Act and other relevant provincial and federal environmental legislation in western Canada
• Sound understanding of USAID’s policies, requirements and existing tools to support combatting wildlife trafficking and conservation crimes
• Proven experience working across sectors and leading inter-disciplinary teams
• Should demonstrate excellent interpersonal, managerial, organizational, oral and written communication skills, and proven leadership abilities within a multi-partner initiative
• Fluency in English and language skills in French are highly desirable
• Budget development, tracking, and adjusting expenditures
• Direct experience with managing wildlife species or habitats for wildlife
