- Proven experience in material pumpability (slurry, paste-like-slurry and paste) assessment and cost effective solution for material delivery to underground and surface through distribution systems. Experienced in pump and pipe sizing and selection -using Weir, and GIW software
- Proven experience in tailings filters type selection and sizing, thickeners type selection and sizing, pipe sizing, specifications and cost estimations for surface and underground pipelines, agitation processes (agitator selection for complex tailings) and hydrocycloning, selection, adjusting and simulations
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in tailings dewatering, separation and pumping design for precious and base metals, ferrous and non-ferrous
- Good verbal and written English communication skills. Preferred bilingual proficiency in French and/or Spanish and/or Portuguese
- Skills to work well in a team with a strong client focus
- Highly proficient in MS Office suite of tools including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project
- Ability to travel internationally for business with focus on North America (Canada, USA and Mexico) to support regional operations; and
- Valid passport preferably with international recognition and a driver’s license from a Canadian province
