- Act as a chamber operator as required by the Diving Superintendent/Supervisor
- Report any physical problem, or illness, including excess fatigue that might affect his efficiency or safety to the Superintendent/Supervisor prior to his dive
- Ensure that the diver owned bailout equipment is in certification, has been tested and is filled with the appropriate breathing air/gas prior to every dive
