Solicit Requests for Proposals (RFP), Quotations or requests (RFQ) for other information from suppliers. Execute Proprietary Information Agreements (PIA’s), and obtain supplier bids and proposals. Distribute appropriate supplier proposal information to internal Westinghouse reviewers as appropriate
  • Be able to work in complex matrix environment to negotiate with the selected supplier(s), with the support of the requisitioner, Quality, Engineering, Projects and other groups, as appropriate
  • Verify that the supplier is currently approved on the Westinghouse Approved Suppliers List (ASL) or Qualified Supplier List (QSL) as applicable and ensure that Purchase Orders shall be only placed with suppliers on the ASL or QSL
  • Verify the supplier is not on any restricted list and is compliant with any import/export requirements
