Collects and analyzes the inspection reports and test certificates and submits to Project Manager and Project Team
Cooperates with Project Engineer and discipline technicians to follow the resolution of the non-conformity revealed by the intermediate and final inspections/tests during supply manufacturing
Provides status reports periodically to Project Manager and Project Team of forecasted deliveries to construction site, updates and maintains archive for verification of suppliers’ performance (manufacturing deadlines, delivery dates and quality of supplies, etc.)
Ensure compliance with customs regulations
Develop technical specification for transportation and shipments
Participate in each support team for all projects and provide valued contributions
Manage the transportation logistic process for wind projects evaluating the best routes and creating a process with construction managers to implement a process for receiving materials
Ensure a possibility to storage materials in a local warehouse in case there is a need for it
Analyze and identify potential impacts for the reporting and communication of supply schedules, ensuring the delivery of goods are achieved per the project master schedule, and in accordance with the project delivery plans
Support development and implementation of import/export policies and procedures, analysis of duty drawback or other special duty programs; as well as applicable U.S. and foreign government programs
Coordinate logistics activities of all materials to ensure there is no delay in the project
Oversee inspection plan and deliveries reports and maintain updated in a weekly basis
Proactively work with suppliers to implement a plan in case of a delay in the factory
BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Sourcing or related field
10+ years of related experience
Previous experience in Wind project is requested
Strong leadership capability
Knowledge of renewable power plants and the main components crossing all technologies (wind, solar, geothermal, hydro and biomass)
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to early identification and resolution of issues
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and meet deadlines
A self-starter with an ability prioritize, manage and handle multiple projects
Capable of working with multi-cultural and multidisciplinary environment
Six Sigma a plus
Spanish or Italian is a plus
