  • Works from drawings, specifications, and instructions to construct, test, operate, and maintain microwave and multiplex systems; mobile radio systems (including base stations, control circuits and mobile radio systems (including base stations, control circuits and mobile radios); power line, open wire and cable carrier systems; digital equipment; data circuits; DC power systems used for communication equipment and automatic and magneto telephone systems; and similar Communication equipment
  • Performs frequency and modulation tests on microwave and radio equipment. Investigates customer radio and television interference complaints and recommends corrective measures
  • Must have experience in the installation, maintenance, and/or repair of telecommunication equipment
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Apply required knowledge and perform skilled mechanical work and heavy physical labor to construct, install, test, operate, maintain and repair the Company's communication equipment and locate trouble and recommend action on radio and television interference inquiries. Maintain a valid Driver's and 2nd Class Radio Operator's License
  • The knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job are of a level comparable to those normally acquired through a high school education supplemented by technical study, training and experience in the construction and maintenance of electronic and related communication equipment
