  • Professional verbal communication skills: must be able describe the business with metrics, use business data to present recommendations, explain mechanical problems, and articulate the thinking behind recommendations
  • Solid writing skills: must be able to write in clear, organized emails with good writing mechanics and a professional tone
  • Experience in project planning for complex jobs or events highly valued
  • Capable in Outlook, Word and Excel. Computer savvy to learn new systems, such as Flowserve’s online system for developing job quotes
  • Excellent ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics
  • Must be able to travel 40% of the time with overnight stays required
  • Must have an active driver’s license with a good driving record and be able to pass a DOT physical; will drive Company truck on occasion
  • Outdoor physical activity is required, including ascending/descending ladders and staircases, and climbing in, under, and around large equipment often located outside
  • Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent, additional education valued
