Strategic Sourcing Analyst Resume Examples & Samples

Design and execute sourcing strategies; develop financial, functional, risk assessment and “what/if” modeling and opportunity assessments, negotiate legal and pricing terms and conditions, research, evaluate and source suppliers of assigned goods and services, develop and maintain supplier relationships
Design and prepare periodic reports that highlight results of current initiatives and provide cost savings summary
Develop action plans to support the streamlining and centralization of the supply base
Practice and promote teamwork at all times. Set a good personal example of attitude and performance
Promote effective communication with all departments and employees within ADESA and its related subsidiaries
Act as a sourcing subject matter expert and liaison between ADESA business unit management, executives, legal, user groups and the suppliers
Help maintain inter-net and intra-net tools used to communicate, collaborate, and store procurement information for ADESA staff and/or suppliers
Ensure proper follow-through on all directives, bulletins and schedules from the Corporate Office and Director of Operations and Strategic Improvement. Maintain a good flow of communication with all departments and within the Corporation
Monitor all area related conditions, property and equipment within corporate standards for cleanliness, proper maintenance and safety. Advise Facilities of all breakdowns and maintenance immediately
Make sure all area conditions do not threaten employee safety. Respond to and follow proper procedures on employee accidents, injuries, and loss or damage to any property. Report all incidents immediately. Practice and instruct all employees in proper loss prevention and reaction procedures. Report all incidents properly and immediately
Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline required (Business, Finance or Supply Chain Management preferred)
One (1) to three (3) years of operations and/or procurement experience required; will consider recent college graduates
