Under the guidance of the Senior Manager responsible for LAC, work closely with the Regional Director and Managers, investment teams, and support staff in developing strategy and managing their operations in the LAC region, and other regions as needed
Contribute to formulation of regional, and lead/co-lead sub-regional, development strategies

Postgraduate degree with 8 years of experience in a relevant field such as economics, Latin American studies, or international relations, with strong grounding in economics both from academic and practical experience
Excellent communication skills, able to speak and write clearly in English and Spanish
Excellent interpersonal skills and good judgment in dealing with high level external and internal contacts.(Portuguese a strong plus); to design compelling visual presentations; to present and speak persuasively in public
High organizational and coordination skills with proven ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously, delivering high quality output on time, and under short deadlines
Capacity to formulate and coordinate a sub-regional/country strategy and contribute to the regional strategy
Experience with IFC/WBG strategy processes and documents (CPFs/SCDs/PLRs) a very strong plus
Good understanding of IFC portfolio and pipeline and both internal and external factors which could impact them
Strong understanding of IFC and WBG corporate culture and processes
