  • Deploy and own the Accelerated Leaders; Graduate and Apprentice strategy for Openreach working with the Senior Leadership, Talent & Diversity Manager
  • Work with the Senior Leadership, Talent & Diversity Manager to ensure the programme is fit for purpose e.g attraction, recruitment, inline management and contininous improvement
  • Work with group centres of excellence to ensure that the Graduate and Apprentice programmes are fit for purpose e.g. Academy, Recruitment and Talent
  • Work with Learning & Development Apprentice training teams to ensure that the programme is best in class, is delivering on expectations and that standards are high, exceeding expectations from Ofsted and other government bodies
  • Proactively partner with HR Business partner teams to identify the demand for Accelerated leaders; graduates and apprentices, and to ensure that current graduates and apprentices are being supported and developed in their day jobs
  • Ensure that the lived experience of our Graduates and Apprentices lives up to the promise we make at recruitment
  • Foster a sense of community amongst the Accelerated Leader population, Graduate population and Apprentice population, celebrating successes, supporting them in their development, and encouraging their visibility at senior levels
  • Work with Openreach Graduate Lead and Senior Leadership, Talent & Diversity Manager to provide a single point of contact and co-ordination across Graduate and Apprentice community, building motivation and commitment to the Telecoms industry and BT
  • Ensure our approach to Accelerated Leaders, Graduate and Apprentice programmes contributes to the diversity agenda in Openreach
